MSI Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Eating Disorder Practitioner to support specialist mental health services in Bristol. This role is suited to an experienced mental health professional with a background in community-based care and eating disorder services.
The successful candidate will support service users through assessment, care planning, therapeutic interventions, and ongoing recovery-focused support while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external services.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting mental health and risk assessments for service users
Supporting individuals with eating disorders through community-based interventions
Managing caseloads and coordinating ongoing care
Developing and reviewing person-centred care plans
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and carers
Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
Escalating safeguarding and clinical concerns appropriately
Requirements
Valid NMC registration as an RMN
Previous experience working within eating disorder or community mental health services
Strong assessment and care coordination skills
Ability to manage caseloads independently
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
NHS experience preferred
