Are you an experienced Clinical or Forensic Psychologist seeking a new challenge or an overseas Psychologist considering a career in the U.K?

There is a vacancy for a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist at their 82 bed hospital with six wards consisting of a medium secure male ward, two low secure (male and female) wards, two PICU male wards and one female acute ward in Stevenage.

If successful, you will be working across the two service lines (Secure and PICU/Acute) and as a ward psychologist on one of the male secure services.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered or HCPC registration processing.
  • Minimum 4 years qualified experience.
  • Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical and DBT.
  • Experience working in forensic services.
  • Capable of treating difficulties such as self-harm, physical & verbal aggression, history of sexual offending and drug & alcohol problems
  • Knowledgeable about risk management, legislation & its impact on service provision.
