Most supermarkets are now allowing NHS staff to shop in their stores before the general public. Again, you'll need to show your NHS ID card to gain entry.

All emergency workers, including the NHS, can visit Aldi stores for dedicated browsing time every Sunday, 30 minutes prior to the store opening time, meaning they will have priority of stock, and will be able to purchase products as the store opens.

Asda

Asda are prioritising NHS/care workers in larger stores every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 9am.

Co-Op

Co-Op have extending opening hours for NHS staff; 8am to 9am Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 11am on Sundays in all stores.

Lidl

Lidl has not announced any dedicated shopping hours but they are working in partnership with Royal Voluntary Service to donate thousands of fresh fruit and vegetable bags to hospital sites across the country, and into the hands of frontline health workers.

M&S

NHS workers will be given priority access to M&S shelves on the first hour of Tuesday and Fridays.

Morrisons

Morrisons have 1 hour from 7am to 8am, Monday to Saturday for NHS workers to shop.

Sainsburys

NHS and social care workers will be able to shop in Sainsburys supermarkets for half an hour before they open, from Monday to Saturday, 7:30 to 8:00.

Tesco

Tesco have added an additional hour to prioritise NHS workers every Tuesday and Thursday, along with browsing hour before checkouts open on Sundays.

Waitrose

The first opening hour in Waitrose supermarkets is dedicated to our elderly and vulnerable shoppers, as well as those who look after them.
