Clinical Psychologist
Salary: £43,472 - £50, 056 (depending on skills and experience)

We are working with the UK's leading charity who help people to thrive after a brain injury. I have several vacancies across their sites for psychologists with experience/an interest in rehabilitation/neuro rehab.
You will be working in a brain injury rehabilitation centre where people initially come for a 12-week assessment period, where they begin rehabilitation to support their recovery. This is then reviewed and may be extended to allow for further rehabilitation to be supported.
Key role & responsibilities for the Clinical Psychologist role:
- To provide specialist psychological/neuropsychological assessment of adults with acquired brain injury referred to BIRT and related services.
- To formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological and/ or neuropsychological intervention to support the neurorehabilitation of adults with acquired brain injury as part of the multi/inter disciplinary team.
- To undertake psychologically based risk assessment and risk management for relevant service users and provide advice on the psychological aspects of risk to the multi/inter disciplinary team.
- To consult with and provide specialist psychological guidance to carers and families of service users.
- You will engage in relevant research and advise other professionals as appropriate.
Minimum requirements for the Clinical Psychologist are:
- HCPC registration
- Experience and/or interest in rehabilitation/neuro rehab
- Psychology experience
- Good communication skills
