As a Locum Microbiology Biomedical Scientist, you will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality microbiology services, supporting patient diagnosis and treatment through accurate and timely laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Performing routine microbiology laboratory duties

• Working across bacteriology benches, including culture, identification, and sensitivity testing

• Ensuring compliance with UKAS, HTA, and NHS laboratory standards

• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to quality control procedures

• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary laboratory team

Essential Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist

• Proven laboratory experience within microbiology

• Strong experience across all bacteriology benches

• Right to work in the UK
