MSI Recruitment has an opportunity for a confident Band 6 Occupational Therapist to develop clinical skills while working with emotionally unstable personality disorder patients in a Tier 4 Personality Disorder ward.

Roles/Responsibilities for Occupational Therapist Role-

  • As an Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, providing direct clinical care that includes assessments, treatment, and management of patients within the service.
  • In this role, you will assess, implement, and develop occupational therapy treatment programs tailored to the service user's diagnosis and identified needs.

Requirements for the Occupational Therapist Role-

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council)
  • Experience in adult mental health
  • Currently working as a Band 5 or Band 6 OT
  • Strong understanding of Occupational Therapy processes and interventions, with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to effectively lead a team with support from the Deputy Head OT
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
  • Passionate about student education
  • Confident IT skills
  • Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check, with employment contingent on successful clearance
