MSI Recruitment are currently recruiting A&E nurses to join the existing team who are highly motivated, thrive under pressure while remaining calm and who can make quick considered decisions .
Key roles and responsibilities-
- Receiving patients from paramedics and taking over patient care
- Carry out examinations to gain information about their conditions.
- Administering IV and intramuscular injections
- Venflon insertion
- Insertion of catheters
- Suturing/Gluing and removal of sutures
- Recording ECG's
- Taking bloods
- Blood monitoring
- Communicating with distressed/anxious patients and relatives
- Supporting and working with a multidisciplinary team
Minimum requirements-
- Min of 6 moths A&E experience
- NMC registered.
- Valid DBS certificate
- Willing to undertake any other training required by the trust.
- Valid Right to work.
