I am currently recruiting for a Biomedical Scientist in Infection Sciences with PCR experience, to work in Jersey, Channel Islands for a 6-month contract.

This post is part of the Jersey wider Track and Trace program, to provide a high-level diagnostic service for Covid-19.

The right applicant will be:

• Able to conduct specialist diagnostic laboratory investigations to reproducible standards in infection sciences.

• Have a good understanding of the principles of laboratory practice, quality management, safety, infection prevention and risk management.

• Experience in handling hazardous chemicals or pathology specimens that may be, or are known to be, infectious.

• Registered with the HCPC.

• Happy to self-isolate in accommodation whilst awaiting Covid-19 Test Results.

Travel Costs (Flights and Ferry): FREE

Accommodation Cost: £50 p/w deduction (this includes Gas, Electricity and Wi-Fi bills)

Start Date: Start of July 2021

Duration: 6 months

This booking is outside of IR35, so MSI can pay your salary to a limited company upon request.
