Clinical Trainer Registered Nurse / ODP - Ophthalmics

4 days per week - expenses paid for travel

This is a full-time permanent position national (mobile) role with an expectation to work at all sites and with occasional work at head office in Preston.

Normal working week - at least 50% at a hospital site and the other 50% from home or Head office to attend meetings and complete admin

Reporting to the Clinical Services manager, the ODP / Registered Nurse Trainer will play a key role within the Clinical Education Team will include working alongside your colleagues to offer a variety of skills. These may include in-house training packages, giving regular mandatory training and support to existing staff, facilitating induction programs and looking after new starters. You will continue to support standards within the Theatre environment and will maintain some clinical responsibility.

If you're an established Ophthalmic ODP or Nurse looking for an exciting challenge, this could be the perfect role for you. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Ophthalmic theatre practitioners to join our Clinical Education team as Clinical Trainers to work Nationally across all sites.

This position within the Clinical Education Team will include working alongside your colleagues to offer a variety of skills. These may include in-house training packages, giving regular mandatory training and support to existing staff, facilitating induction programs and looking after new starters. You will continue to support standards within the Theatre environment and will maintain some clinical responsibility.

You will facilitate training for all levels of staff ensuring that the demands of the service and the individual are met, and will also benefit from post graduate education training provided by to enable you to deliver high quality training and for your personal development.

If you are an ODP/Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years recent theatre experience (preferably in scrub role) and 1 year in Ophthalmology, please apply now.
