A fantastic opportunity is available for a Consultant Paediatrician with an interest in diabetes.

The paediatric service covers 5 distinct areas including an outpatient department. There are also close working relationships with paediatric services in London.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the consultant, nursing and Divisional, team to protect and enhance the reputation of the Paediatric Department and the Trust.
  • Work collaboratively with other specialties, including neonatology, radiology, anaesthetics, paediatric surgery, emergency medicine and adult neurology.
  • Contribute to research programmes and meetings.
  • Provide high quality postgraduate teaching and experience to doctors, nurses and allied health professionals in training.
  • Participate in the development of regional solutions to service provision for all medical and surgical specialties for children and young people

Minimum requirements:

  • Full registration with GMC and on the speciality register or within 6 months of CCT.
  • MRCPCH or equivalent.
  • Valid Level 3 Safeguarding.
