Occupational Health Advisor
Work for one of the UK's leading providers of corporate healthcare services, with extensive experience of creating and delivering effective and innovative corporate wellness strategies.
We are seeking an experienced OH Advisor to assist in the delivery of an in -house Occupational Health (OH) service for the client. The post holder will be working closely with an OH Physician, an Occupational Health Manager (OHM) and Occupational Health Advisor and will be responsible for providing pre-placement medical reviews, case management, and supporting employee's physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Skills and Experience
- Registered General Nurse - or equivalent (part 1 of NMC Register).
- Registered on part 3 of NMC Register (Occupational Health)
- Educated to at least degree level (desirable)
- Demonstrable OH experience required; in a multi-disciplinary organization in either the public or private sector (experience within the healthcare and corporate sectors advantageous).
- Competent in all aspects of sickness absence case management, health surveillance and fitness for work assessments
- Knowledge of the principles, tools, techniques and developments in OH sector.
- Knowledge & experience of clinical governance within an OH setting.
- Competent IT skills and ability to work on paperless systems
