MSI Recruitment are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Lead Academy Physiotherapist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing clinical examinations and interventions for our U18s and U21s. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Academy U9-U16 Lead Therapist to manage the Schoolboy Medical programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on clinical examinations and interventions for U18s and U21s.
- Support the Academy U9-U16 Lead Therapist in managing the Schoolboy Medical programme.
- Manage full-time and part-time Academy Therapists to ensure adequate coverage for U9-U21 training, fixtures, and tours.
- Act as the lead clinician for full and part-time Academy players across various age groups.
- Document all clinical examinations and therapeutic interventions in accordance with HCPC standards using athlete management portals such as Kitman Labs and TrainMyAthlete.
- Collaborate with the Head of Academy Performance and Head of Medical to facilitate the transition of players from U18s and U21s to the 1st Team.
- Lead the Academy Medical Service EPPP Audit compliance procedure and ensure adherence to the National Audit of Injury and Rehabilitation.
Requirements:
- BSc in Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience in a sporting environment.
- Knowledge of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP).
