As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Leading, supporting, and motivating a dedicated staff team
Maintaining robust safeguarding practices and full regulatory compliance
Managing staff recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development
Overseeing financial management and budget control
Role modelling the home’s therapeutic care approach to support children’s development and outcomes
Driving continuous improvement across all areas of the service
Being enrolled on, or willing to enrol on, the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
Essential Requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience in children’s residential care within the last 5 years (to meet Ofsted criteria)
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory requirements
Full UK driving licence
Enhanced DBS suitable for working with children
