MSI Recruitment are currently working in collaboration with an NHS Trust situated in South West England that is actively seeking experienced Psychiatrists to augment their dedicated teams. As a prominent NHS community and mental health provider, the Trust is dedicated to delivering comprehensive care, emphasising both physical and mental well-being. Their services include specialised support for individuals dealing with dementia and learning disabilities.

The Trust comprises approximately 4,000 professionals, including doctors, nurses, therapists, administrators, and support staff. Their work is diverse, taking place in people's homes, community clinics, and various bases, with some team members operating from the Trust's 10 community hospitals, serving a population of over 500,000 residents in the region.

Moreover, if you lack IELTS or OET certification, the trust can provide an exemption and assist with GMC registration.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Local MDT (multidisciplinary team) and Consultant psychiatrist as the main job role.
• Be based at the nominated location with office space and Medical Secretarial support.
• Commitment to prompt assessment and treatment of children and adolescents, emphasising multi-disciplinary working.
• Strong links with education and social care, acknowledging the necessity of multi-agency assessment for complex cases.
• Coordinated treatment by a case manager, involving a range of psychological interventions and medical psychiatric treatment when appropriate.
• Liaison and collaboration with colleagues in other agencies to establish the best care package for individuals or families.
• Jointly work with other team members to provide consultation and psychiatric assessment.
• Liaison and collaboration with services to safeguard children.

Minimum requirements:

• 4 years of psychiatry experience.
• MRCPsych qualified.
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry experience.
