Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Consultant
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours (4 or 5 days a week)
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: £154,000 p/annum PLUS £10k signing on bonus + £8k relocation package & £8,400 car allowance
I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Consultant to join a small, friendly and established CAMHS Eating Disorder service to help twelve young people.
Working 37.5 hours a week over 4 or 5 days which also offers working a day from home per week and a relocation package of £8,000!
Key responsibilities for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Consultant role:
- Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely.
- Medication management.
- Quality assurance, complaints and co-production.
- Delivery of NICE guidance.
- Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards.
Minimum requirement for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Consultant is:
- MRCPsych required.
- Section 12(2) approval.
- On the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or be accepted within 6 months
- Section 12(2) approval, Approved Clinician status
- Clinical training and experience required for gaining UK CCT.
- Widespread and detailed experience of assessment and management of patients in Child and Adolescent psychiatry
- Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
