Consultant Psychiatrist - General Adult Community

Hours: Full Time 10 sessions per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Solihull

Salary: £99, 532 - £131, 964 per annum

Do you want to be part of a new model of community mental health care working across an Integrated Care System?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of two CMHTs in the Solihull Community Hub. The CMHT looks after adults over the age of 25 and has links to other teams within the Community Hub which includes the Older Adult CMHT and Assertive Outreach Team. There is also a dedicated Home Treatment Team that is geographically linked to the CMHT.

It is anticipated that referrals and caseload numbers are likely to reduce as we progress with our Community Mental Health Transformation as part of the Long-Term Plan. There will be less focus on static caseloads and more focus on partnership working in local neighbourhoods aligned to Primary Care Networks.

The indicative job plan is: 7.5 PAs Direct Clinical Care and 2.5 PAs Support Professional Activities.
